15 May 1946 - 12 November 1949, Commission appointing MJM to be Governor-General; dormant commission appointing others to perform the functions of Governor-General; Oath of Allegiance of Governor-General; Royal Commission appointing as Commissioner-General; Royal Instructions re discharge of duties as Commissioner-General; despatch of Secretary of State for Colonies accompanying these instructions; “Status and duties . . . of the Commissioner-General . . .” (possibly draft instructions).
